Follow the AVL Hoppers Women's Team as they take on their first USAV Open National Championship this May in Denver, Colorado! This team of friends came together through AVL Hoppers leagues and will be competing in the Women's A Division. 

All donations for this team will be used for team expenses related to participating in Nationals. All other donations (not specified as for the Womens Team) will not be used.

Setter Brooke Holliday played for UNC Asheville. She resides in Asheville, NC.

Outside Hitter Amanda Woods played for Cedarville University. She resides in Swannanoa, NC.

Outside Hitter Hannah Harris played for Covenant College. She resides in Weaverville, NC.

Middle Blocker Emily Russell played for USC Upstate. She coaches at The Asheville School and resides in Asheville, NC.

Middle Blocker Katie O’Connor played for Western Carolina University. She coaches at Mountain Volleyball Club and resides in Bryson City, NC. 

Opposite Hitter Casey Wells played for Furman University. She resides in Asheville, NC.

Libero Amanda McCall played for Western Carolina University. She coaches at Xcel Volleyball and serves on the AVL Hoppers board. McCall resides in Brevard, NC.

Defensive Specialist Brenda Galvan is a founding board member of AVL Hoppers. She resides in Candler, NC.

All players compete in local leagues and tournaments with AVL Hoppers.
